{Brazilian Carrot Cake}

Ingredientes:

  • 1/2 xícara (chá) de óleo

  • 3 cenouras médias 

  • 4 ovos

  • 1 e 1/2 xícaras (chá) de açúcar

  • 2 e 1/2 xícaras (chá) de farinha de trigo peneirada

  • 1 colher (sopa) de fermento em pó (Penere o fermento com a farinha) 

 

Modo de Preparo:

Em um liquidificador, adicione a cenoura, os ovos e o óleo, bata ate obter uma consistencia uniforme (Eu usei o NutriBullet para bater). 

Acrescente o açúcar e bata novamente.

Em uma tigela ou na batedeira, adicione a farinha de trigo peneirada com o fermento aos poucos.

Asse em um forno preaquecido a 180° C por aproximadamente 40 minutos.

Ingredientes para a Cobertura:

  • 1 Lata de leite Condensado
  • 1 Lata de creme de leite
  • 1/2 xícara de chocolate meio amargo
  • 1 Colher de sopa de manteiga 

 

Modo de Preparo:

Em uma panela coloque a manteiga. Assim que a manteiga comecar a derreter acrescente o leite condensado e misture.

Acrecente o chocolate, em fogo medio mexa ate alcancar uma consistencia firme.

Desligue o fogo e acrescente o creme de leite aos poucos misturando bem.

Despeje sobre o bolo desenformado e aproveite!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of oil

  • 3 medium carrots

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 and 1/2 cups sugar

  • 2 and 1/2 cups of sifted flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

 

Preparation:

In a blender, add the carrot, eggs and oil, beat until uniform consistency (I used the NutriBullet to blend).
Add the sugar and beat again.
In a bowl or in the mixer, add the sifted wheat flour with the yeast bit by bit.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 ° F for approximately 40 minutes.

Ingredients for Glaze:

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 1 can of heavy cream or mesure in the condensed milk can

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon butter

 

Preparation:

Put the butter in a pan. As soon as the butter begins to melt add the condensed milk and mix.
Stir the chocolate over medium heat until firm consistency.
Turn off the heat and add the cream slowly mixing.
Pour over the cake and enjoy it!
